Sky Sports News runs a 10-day work placement scheme at Sky's Osterley, London office.

My time at SSN involved creating TV bulletins, editing videos, writing articles, and attending planning meetings and press conferences.

It was an exciting, valuable fortnight in which the staff offered detailed feedback and advice, allowing me to learn and improve in many areas.

I was also able to work in a proper newsroom environment and witness how fast-paced news can be.

Beth was an exemplary work experience student, asking questions and displaying an inquisitive mindset. She was keen to take as much from the experience as possible and demonstrated a high willingness to learn, while also demonstrating high punctuality. She fitted in well within the team and was both hard-working and sociable within the team setting.
